About Ireland Day
The NYSE Euronext and the Irish American Business Association, in partnership with Business & Finance Media Group, are pleased to announce that Ireland Day 2012 will take place at the New York Stock Exchange on March 19. Following last year’s success, Ireland Day 2012 promises to be an even more high profile event.
The New York Stock Exchange is home to some of the most important corporations in the world. Ireland Day 2012 will present a unique opportunity to connect some of the most influential American and Irish business leaders with one another to exchange ideas, establish relationships, and explore new business opportunities.
Ireland Day will be structured as a summit style event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception for attendees on the NYSE trading floor. The event will host more then 350 executives from Fortune 500 companies, venture capital firms, entrepreneurial start-ups, and financial & life sciences organizations from both the US and Ireland.
The NYSE is host to some of the world’s leading media organisations, including Bloomberg and CNBC. As a result, Ireland Day will receive ample coverage as it is held on a day that the market is open. Ireland Day is the flagship calendar event for the Irish American Business Association.The objective is to showcase Ireland as an investment opportunity. Just as importantly, it also serves as an opportunity for Irish companies looking to penetrate the US market.
